DOVER - Elizabeth Jean Green passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Mrs. Green was born on March 25, 1939 in Dover, Delaware to the late James M. Bishop and Julia Weller Bishop.
She enjoyed shopping, cooking, crafts, watching baseball and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Green, Sr.; and son, James "Jay" Green.
She is survived by her children, William "Billy" Green (Janice), of Somerset, KY, Sherry Lynn Kemp (Ricky) of Magnolia, DE; niece, Sherry Sheldon, of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Amber, Dawn, Crystal, Machelle, Billy III, Jennifer, Kendra, Katie and Jake; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow service times in Barratt's Chapel, Frederica, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions made in her honor be sent to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
