MILFORD - Elizabeth Felton passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was born in Rowlesburg, W.Va. to the late Rodney and Lillian Felton.
Ms. Felton entered the U.S. Navy in 1951, as a college graduate and officer. She found a way into Navy Intelligence, and was stationed in Scotland. Ms. Felton moved to Dover in 1970 and taught art education at Dover Central Middle School for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was an accomplished, master gardener.
Ms. Felton was predeceased by her brother, Dr. William H. Felton; and her sister, Shirley W. Handley. On Dec. 5, 2015, she was preceded by her best friend and life companion, Connie Guandique. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
