Elizabeth DeTemple Hendershot

SEAFORD - Elizabeth DeTemple Hendershot of Seaford, Del., died Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital Seaford. Born in Benwood, W. Va., the daughter of the late Mary Kelley and Francis DeTemple she was a lock insulator at General Electric in Baltimore, Md. before retiring. Elizabeth was member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Seaford and the Red Hats Senior Citizens. She is survived by two sons, Willard T. Hendershot of Seaford, and Ralph P. Hendershot of Flowery Branch, Ga.; a brother, Edward DeTemple of New Florence, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth C. Owens of Seaford; and six great-grandchildren; and seven great- great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Alcorn Hendershot in 1991. Services will be Friday May 4, 2012 with a 11:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church Stein Highway Seaford, DE. Friends may call on Thursday evening May 3, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Watson-Yates Funeral Home Front & King Streets Seaford, De. Burial will be in New Cathederal Cemetery 4300 Old Frederick Road, Catonsville, Md.
