Eleanor Boggs Sabo, 88

DOVER - Eleanor Boggs Sabo, of Dover, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 88. She was born on March 13, 1920, in Dover, to the late Newell and Sadie Cooke Boggs. Mrs. Sabo was a member of St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Freeland, Pa., and the Dover Modern Maturity where she enjoyed playing pinochle. She was a bookkeeper for the A & P Co. She just celebrated her 70th class reunion from Caesar Rodney High School. Mrs. Sabo was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Sabo; and sister, Sophia Gill. She is survived by son and his wife, James E. and Mary Ann Brunke of Dagsboro; grandson and his wife, James E. and Rachell Brunke III; grandson and his wife, Jonathan and Karen Brunke; great-granddaughters, Diane Brunke, Anna Brunke, and Natalia Brunke. Burial and graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Freeland. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church, 335 Washington St., Freeland, PA 18224.
