FELTON - Elaine V. Squier passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Christiana Hospital. Mrs. Squier was born December 11, 1939, in Rochester, New York to the late William Cameron and Doris Morgan Cameron, and raised in Caledonia, New York.
She worked as a bookkeeper for ten years at Delaware Lumber as well as a bookkeeper for, Judge Keith, Holt Distributor and Dr. Kidd. Mrs. Squier enjoyed camping, car shows, Hot Roding, riding Harley Davidsons and baking.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her children, Robert Shamp, Lisa State and Virginia Dubin; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Shamp; siblings, Bill, Richard, Donny, James, Doris, Dorothy, Helen, Betty, and Ruth.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Squier of Felton; sons, Gary Shamp of Sabino, Ohio and Charles Squier and his wife Tammy of Dunn, N.C.; daughter, Rhonda Cunningham and her husband Robert of Denton, Md.; sister, Barbara Whritenour and her husband Robert of Dallas, Ga.; grandchildren, Scott Squier (Melissa), Rebeka Romanos-Pierce (Frederick), Cameron Squier, Nathanial Squier, Ashley Gregory (Ryan), Trisha Chaney (Ric), Robert Cunningham, III, Brandon Cunningham (Katie), Amber Demby (Lamont), Cortney Cunningham, Tiffany Wise and Lisa Griffin and Stephanie Robinson; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
