NORTHPORT, Maine - Eileen S. (Sennott) Preskenis passed away on Sept. 5, 2016 in Bangor, Maine. She was born on July 30, 1930 in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Frederick and Mary (McNiff) Sennott. Eileen was active with her local senior college as well as the Waldo County Hospital Volunteers. She loved to travel but remained a mom first with her family. She was predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband of 49 years, Robert Preskenis; as well as six siblings. Eileen is survived by her children, Robert and Pamela Preskenis, of Knoxville, Tenn., Eileen Maguire and Matt Dennen, of Northport, Maine, John Preskenis, of Dover, Richard and Lisa Preskenis, of Philadelphia, Pa., James and Tracey Preskenis, of Dover, Mary Gilligan and Dan Courter of Winthrop, Maine; sister, Carina Logue, of North Andover, Mass.; brother, Frank Sennott, of Buckfield, Maine; grandchildren, James Preskenis, Lauren Preskenis, Robert Preskenis, Matthew Maguire, Lindsay Preskenis, Michael Preskenis, Brian Preskenis, Patrick Maguire, Christopher Preskenis, Kathryn Maguire, Kelsey Preskenis, Jack Gilligan, Ryan Gilligan, and Kerri Gilligan; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Sophia, and Gia Preskenis. There will be a celebration mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover, at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016.
