GEORGETOWN - Edwina S. Mootz, of Georgetown, passed away at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes on Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was born in Washington, D.C. on May 18, 1925 to the late Colonel Edgar Stayer and Fredericka (Fenker) Stayer. She was a member of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Rehoboth for over 60 years, was a member of the Order Of The Eastern Star, was a Master Gardener for University of Delaware Extension Service, belonged to the Arabian Horse Association of Delmarva and enjoyed knitting. She worked for Howard T. Ennis as a Teacher's Assistant, retiring several years ago. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Logan. She is survived by her children, Fredericka M. Norris, Resi (and Phil) Wolfe, and Maida (and John) Shelalis; grandchildren, Alexa Vance, Olivia Burton, Phillip Wolfe, Carl Graves and Marga Graves; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call at 6 p.m. for a time of visitation. Interment will be private. Flowers are accepted. The family suggests memorials to the S.P.C.A. Sussex County, 22918 DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
