SALISBURY - Edward Ripper, age 90, died peacefully on July 31, 2024. His loving wife, Sharon Reece Clark, was by his side throughout their 28 year marriage.
He was born in western Pennsylvania on November 25, 1933 and was the youngest of five children. He served in the Air Force and then began a 45 year career as a telecommunications engineer. He retired after 45 years at 68 years old. During his working career, Ed also enjoyed working as a charter boat and head boat captain in the Delaware Bay for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, a sister, and his first wife. He is survived by his wife, a sister, his 3 stepchildren, 9 grandchildren, and many very special nieces and nephews. His generous and kind spirit made him an adored part of all of their lives.
