Edward N. Greenlee, 66 HARRINGTON - Edward N. Greenlee, of Harrington, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at home surrounded by his family. He was 66. He was born in Harrington to the late Ralph F. and Rhoda Bell Greenlee. Edward graduated from the Harrington High School class of 1960. He served in the U.S. Army for three years after graduation. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Reserves from which he retired as Master Sergeant. He also worked and retired from civil service. At the time of his death, he was employed at Perdue of Milford as a human relations clerk. In his spare time, Edward enjoyed western movies and country music. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph W. Greenlee, and John W. Greenlee; and a stepbrother, Brice Vanderwende. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Doris J. Greenlee of Harrington; son, Jack E. Greenlee and wife Michelle of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughter, Dee R. Hoover and husband John of Felton; eight stepchildren and spouses, Richard M. and Candice Sullivan of Illinois, Donna A. and Robin Havelow, Shirley M. Baker, Thomas Warren, Rhoda and Fred Groh, all of Florida, Barry M. Sullivan of Felton, Robert J. Sullivan of North Carolina, and Lisa G. Johnson of Milford; sister, Hilda O. Bishop and husband Patrick of Woodside; aunt, Ann Farley and husband John; sisters-in-law and spouses, Caroline Greenlee, Joyce and Bill Shockley, and Julia and Jimmie Quillen; brothers-in-law and spouses, Norman and Helen Porter, and James and Darlene Porter; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South Dupont Hwy., Harrington, where friends may call two hours prior. Burial will be private.
