SEAFORD - Edward Lee Thomas, of Seaford, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, in his home. Born on Dec. 9, 1961, he was 47. Edward was a kind, loving and devoted husband, father, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Alice Thomas of Seaford; two daughters Edkeisha and Alice (Koli) Thomas; granddaughter, Ni'jae Thomas; mother, Lillie D. Thomas of Seaford; brothers, Jasper, William, and Northern Thomas, all of Seaford, and Cassell Thomas of Florida; sisters, Lillie Trammell, Barbara Carter, Madeline Thomas and Gloria West of Seaford; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, in the United Deliverance Bible Center, 532 W. 7th Street, Laurel, where friends may call two hours prior to the services. Interment will be in the St. Matthews Church Cemetery, Laurel. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Seaford.
