MILFORD, Del. - Edward John McConnell passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Ed was the son of the late Patrick Joseph and Mildred Marie (Brake) McConnell.
He was a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School, Class of '83. Early on, Ed worked in construction doing carpentry and masonry work. He then took an interest in cooking and worked as a cook for both the Milford Diner and the Westside Restaurant for several years. In his spare time, Ed enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing and crabbing. He also loved the sport of lacrosse.
He is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Postles and Brittany Garcia (Devin); a grandson, Kingston Garcia; siblings, Patrick Joseph McConnell, Michael Walter McConnell, Kathleen Cagle (Randy) and Paul Wayne McConnell; as well as two nephews and one niece.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 - 4 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where a Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. Burial will be private.
