Edward Eugene Green OCALA, Fla. - Mr. Edward Eugene Green died on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at his residence. Ed was born in Carlos, Minn., on Jan. 21, 1930, to parents, Harry and Louise (Keslick) Green. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during World War II. He was a retired engineer for IBM. He moved to Ocala in 2005 from Dover, Del., and was a member of Ocala West Church of the Nazarene. He will be greatly missed by those who survive him, including his wife, Bona Green of Ocala; son, James Green of Manassas, Va.; Debra Wunderley of Falling Waters, W.Va.; daughter, Lauren Callahan of Dover, Del.; eight grandchildren; step-son, David Phelps III of Huntersville, N.C.; step-daughter, Xina Phelps of Richmond, Va.; two brothers, Fred and Tom; and three sisters, Grace, Opal, and Dorothy. Memorial services for Mr. Green will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Ocala West Church of The Nazarene, 5884 SW 60th Ave, Ocala, FL 34474, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the church. Arrangements are under the care of Roberts Funeral Homes Bruce Chapel West. 352-854-2266.
