LAUREL - Edward Clay Truitt, of Laurel, passed away on Dec. 1, 2010, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born in Daytona, Fla., son of the late James and June Truitt. Edward worked for Atlantic Coastal Well Drilling as a Master Driller. A devoted family man, Ed was always willing to do handyman work for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Dale Truitt of Laurel; a son, Edward J. Truitt and wife Crystal of Laurel; a daughter, Holly Sorrells and husband Rev. Ben of Laurel; his siblings, Buster, Aubrey and Lester Truitt, Marcella Martin, Betty Comer, Ruthie Truitt; his pride and joy grandchildren, Nicholas Truitt, Addison Sorrells and her soon to be baby brother. Services were held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home 700 West Street Laurel, Del. on Mon., Dec. 6, 2010. The Pastor Ken Deusa officiated.
