REHOBOTH BEACH - Edward C. Fogg, of Rehoboth Beach, died on Friday, June 20, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 84.
Mr. Fogg was born June 22, 1923, in Shiloh, N.J., to the late Edward S. and Irma (Miller) Fogg.
He was in agriculture and automotive sales most of his life. While he was working in Washington, D.C., he delivered the presidential limousine for the John F. Kennedy inauguration in 1961.
Mr. Fogg graduated with the Class of 1940 from Bridgeton (N.J.) High School.
He loved cars, horses, used to enjoy trapping muskrat, fishing and vacations with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edward H. Fogg, in 1985.
Mr. Fogg is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elaine (Miller) Fogg; a son, Eric Fogg and his wife Janet of Harbeson; a daughter, Ellen Holtz and her husband Brian of Bethlehem, Pa.; a sister, Ruth M. Fogg of Lewes; two grandchildren, Diana Fogg of Salisbury, Md., and Joseph Holtz of Doyleston, Pa.; and his close canine friend, Duchess of Norway.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may visit beginning at noon.
The Rev. Gary Knapp of East Gate Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Millsboro.
