Edna 'Betty' Tolliver, 73
LINCOLN - Edna "Betty" Tolliver, age 73, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully, in her home on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009. Betty was a homemaker. She was an animal lover and especially enjoyed her cats. She always supported local and national SPCA organizations. Betty is survived by her companion of over 20 years, Charles T. Morrissey; and two of his children with whom she had a special relationship, Sean Morrissey and wife Deborah of Katy, Texas, and Mary Messer and husband Roger of Port Republic, Md.; a brother, William Bolen and wife Joanne of Salisbury, Md.; and a special nephew, Brian Bolen and wife Lisa of North Carolina. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 25, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park, Salisbury, Md. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the SPCA, 22918 Dupont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
