Edna worked for many years for the Milford School District as a cashier in the school's cafeteria. She loved talking and seeing the children come through her line every day. Later in her career, Edna pursued her dream of following her faith and working for Avenue Methodist Church in Milford, as the Church Secretary. She later retired to take care of her grandchildren. She loved going to the beach with family and friends. She loved taking trips to the beach seeing all the seagulls.
Edna is survived by her two wonderful sons, Theodore M. Newhouse, Jr. and Scott C. Newhouse (Kim L.); her grandchildren, Robert Newhouse, Dawn Newhouse Bawel (Keith), and Scotty Newhouse; her great-grandchildren, Hailey Bawel and Allena Bawel; brother, William Chandler (Frances Ann) and their children, Robin Rockemann, Shelly Wise, and Keith Chandler and their families; sister, Gloria Bridgers (Ben) and their children, Darren and Marc Bridgers and their families.
