Edith M. Clark, 96 CHESTERTOWN, MD - Edith M. Clark, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, in Chestertown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chestertown, Md. She was 96. Mrs. Clark was born June 18, 1913, daughter of the late Philip and Sallie Leathrum Hurd. She was a lifetime resident of Kent County, Md., where she was raised in Morgnec and later moved to Chestertown. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Edward Clark in 1998; and a sister, Mary Gsell. She is survived by a son, William A. Clark and his wife, Ethel of Chestertown, Md.; four grandchildren, William "Cody" Clark and Philip Clark, both of Chestertown, Md., Cheryl Schauber of Church Creek, Md., and Marietta Raleigh of Rock Hall, Md.; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 16, in Chester Cemetery, Chestertown, Md., with Rev. David Bringman officiating. Arrangements by Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L.
