Edith Forest (Snyder) Lipfird Segnor, 93 LINCOLN - Edith Forest (Snyder) Lipfird Segnor, 93, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. Mrs. Segnor was the daughter of the late Noah and Stella (Thomas) Snyder. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her first husband Clinton Lipfird in 1955; her second husband Horace Segnor in 1978; a daughter, Carolyn Conaway in 1998; three grandchildren Donna Lynn Dignard, Sheila Mumford and Ben Wade Jr.; five sisters Vinton Snyder, Josephine Snyder, Lula Snyder, Iva Lee Bunning and Beulah Wallace; and three brothers, McKinley Snyder, Clyde Snyder, and Cuge Snyder. She is survived by three sons, Jay Snyder of Lincoln, Larry Lipfird of Hudson, N.C., and Elmer Lipfird of Elizabeth, Tenn.; three daughters, Mary Dunn and Ora May, both of Mountain City, Tenn., and Gladys Wade of Lincoln; one sister, Sarah Wilson of Narrows, Va.; 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 26, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln.
