Edgar Eugene "Puss" Walls, III, of Harrington, Delaware, passed away June 2, 2025. Born on October 16, 1949, in Chestertown, Maryland, Eugene was the son of the late Edgar "Reds" Walls, Jr. and Elizabeth Kimbles Walls. Eugene grew up in Ingleside on a dairy farm and graduated from Queen Anne's County High School in 1968. After graduation he pursued a career in harness racing then moved on to be a laborer in construction but never lost his love of horse racing. His passion for the outdoors was unmatched, running hunting dogs, fishing, jousting, and everything in between. In his spare time, he loved collecting treasures that most people viewed as junk. Most of all, Eugene enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Eugene is survived by his sister, Vickie (Walls) Thornton (Fred) of Cordova, MD; brother-in-law, Timmie Skinner of Ridgely, MD; niece, Megan Thornton (Austin) of Felton, DE; nephews: Jason Skinner (Susan) of Greenwood, DE, and Justin Skinner (Amber) of Camden, DE; greatnephews: Ryder, Reid, and Colton; great-niece, Kayleigh; and many close friends. In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Skinner.
