Edgar Eugene Jones, 71 GREENWOOD - Edgar Eugene Jones, of Greenwood, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at home. He was 71. Edgar was the son of the late Edgar Joseph Jones and Anna M. (Wooters) Kane. He was self employed specializing in automobile painting, body work and restoration for the last 20 years. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge 534. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing. Edgar was an accomplished craftsman when it came to making pool cues by hand as well as repairing them. He was also an excellent pool player, traveling with the Loyal Order of Moose to Las Vegas, Nev., where he took part in National Pool Tournaments. Edgar is survived two twin sons, Sammy and Buddy Smith; a brother and sister-in-law, James A. and Ruth Jones, of Harrington; an aunt and uncle, Norris and Mary Wooters of Harrington; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce St., Harrington.
