CAMDEN - Earl E. Cole Jr. was called home to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ in glory on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Earl was a loyal and dedicated employee for over 17 years to Burris Logistics in both Harrington, and Federalsburg, Md. Earl was also employed as a youth minister at Southside Baptist church from 2002 to 2005. He was a life long member and servant of the Lord at Southside Baptist Church, formerly known as Dover Baptist Temple in Dover. Earl's service to his Lord included: 11 plus years as Sunday School Superintendent, Men's Ensemble, Usher, Nursery Worker, and 2nd grade Sunday School Teacher with his wife Peggy Sue. He was also a long time member and pitcher for the Southside Baptist Church softball team. Earl loved hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, pitching horse shoes, everything ESPN and was die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Earl graduated From Caesar Rodney High School in 1981 and from Dover Baptist Temple in 1982 where he continued to serve his Lord throughout his life. Earl was preceded in death by his father, Earl E. Cole Sr.; paternal grandfather, Earl W. Cole, and grandmother Louise Cole; his maternal great-grandfather who he modeled his life after, the Reverend James C. Holloman, and great-grandmother, Minnie Hollomon; maternal grandparents, Stroman T. Watford and Ethel E. Watford; and special aunt, Eugenia Lee Watford. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Peggy Sue Cole; daughter, Sheena Renee Cole; sons, Michael Christopher Cole, and Andrew Thomas, and Erick Michael Fulton; his mother, Mary Watford Vannoy; and stepfather, Robert C. Vannoy; sisters, Charlina Patterson and Honey Sharp; brothers, Jeremy R. Vannoy, James Craig Patterson, Troy, JP and Adam Cole; stepmother, Shirley Cole; and grandmother, Eileen Gamber. Also left cherish his memory are his wonderful in-laws and his friends and co-workers at Burris Logistics in both Harrington, and Federalsburg, Md. Services will be at Southside Baptist Church, 4904 South DuPont Highway, Dover, where friends may call from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 31, 2011. A memorial celebration of life services will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the church. Burial will be private and at convenience of the family. The family suggests flowers or contributions be sent to Southside Baptist Church. Arrangements are by the Trader Funeral Home Inc., Dover. Letters of condolence maybe sent to traderfh@aol.com.
