DOVER - Earl D. Smith, Jr., of Dover, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011, at home. Mr. Smith was born August 6, 1928, in Dover, to the late, Earl D. Smith, Sr. and Katherine Stearns Smith. He was self employed as a Land Surveyor. He was a member of Masonic Lodge PM, Dover Lodge #7, the Shriners, and Tall Cedars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Cooper Smith in 2009; and three sisters. He is survived by his son, Earl D Smith III and his wife Jody of Camden; daughters, Susan Willson and her husband John of Dover, Sandra Morian and her husband Jerry of Orange Park, Fla., and Janet Smith of Dover; brother, Bradford Smith of Wyoming; and sister, Katherine Larimore of Wilmington; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were private. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19904.
