CAMDEN - E. Glenn Richards, departed this life Monday, October 26, 2009, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 42. He was born Dec. 9, 1966 in Dover, and graduated from Dover High School in 1985. Glenn owned and operated Coastal Marine in Ocean City, Md. for many years, and currently was employed by Alban Tractor Company of Ocean City, Md. He enjoyed Harley motorcycles, boating, camping, old cars, and Big Block Modified racing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle in 2002. He is survived by his beautiful 11 year-old daughter, Brittney; his mother, Laura Hindt and husband, Melvin of Clayton; his father, Ernest Richards and wife, Pam of Hartly; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Richards of Smyrna; two brothers, Philip Watson of Baltimore, Md., and Gregory Watson and wife, Juliana of Camden; two step-brothers, Mark Hindt and wife, Peggy of Salisbury, Md., and Jason Nickerson Sr. and wife, Lisa of Bridgetown, Md.; two step-sisters, Kellie Hudson and husband, Brent of Laurel, and Michelle Hindt of Baltimore; his fiancé, Christine Outten of Dover, and her children, Daniel Wharton, Derrick Outten, and Leeann Outten, and her grandchildren, Alyssa Wharton, and Caitlynn Michelle Hurd; two very close and supportive friends, Becky and Jim Pettit of Felton; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be 7 p.m. Sunday, November 1, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 5:30 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934. To send a condolence letter, visit www.delmarvaobits.com.
