DSHS requests additional state funding for DNA testing, state police recruitment initiatives

Agency also seeks to aid DEMA after federal funding cuts

Gov. Matt Meyer’s recommended budget appropriated $254,859,900 of general fund money to the Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security, though the agency is seeking about $2.66 million more.
