FREDERICA — A 28-year-old Felton man was charged after a vehicle pursuit led to the discovery of drugs, Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said.

Authorities said the incident occurred Wednesday at approximately 12:40 a.m., when a trooper saw a black Nissan Sentra driver on their cell phone while traveling on Clapham Road. A traffic stop was initiated when the driver, later identified as Taquion A. Turner, refused to stop and led police on a pursuit while committing several traffic violations including reckless and aggressive driving, police alleged.
