It seems to me that Sen. David Sokola, D-Newark, and Ms. Kendall Massett are worried that the money allotted to public and charter schools would have to be shared (“Court could unravel charter school law”).
Religious schools have operated for many years and produce good numbers in students and the grades they receive. If the public schools in Delaware were producing good outcomes, it would be a different story. Delaware is in the top 10 states in the country for educational funding. Yet the test scores are in the bottom 10 of the states.
These two individuals seem more worried about money than the test scores. Have a voucher system, in which the money goes with the child, not just to certain schools.
