In response to Dr. David R. Legates’ Opinion: Finally, a sensible view from a person who studied climate change (“DNREC’s climate claims vs. state data”). In his piece, he points out what the facts show and what is being put out by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. It seems that DNREC is following the failed policies of California. It professes a narrative to claim that climate change is producing more violent storms and events. When Dr. Legates produces the facts in his Opinion, it appears that just the opposite is happening.
There are many opinions about both of the effects of climate change, without real provable facts. The doctor points to the facts, not judgments made by DNREC. The climate has changed over many centuries, and people are still living their lives. All the advances the United States has made have not had an effect on the world climate. India, China and Russia have not made the same amount of changes.
