The example of a woman getting her General Educational Development diploma and help with child care is very nice (“Two-generation approach tackles housing issues”). But it needed the backstory. Where is the husband and father? How many kids are from the same man?
We can’t keep giving away free money, housing and medical benefits due to people not taking responsibility for their actions. How many men are having children and either get sent to jail or involved with the drug culture? Let’s start in the schools, teaching not about feelings but life experiences.
