NEW CASTLE - Dr. Moses E. Lewis, 52, of New Castle, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, August 12, 2010. Dr. Lewis graduated from North Carolina A & T University and Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Lewis worked as a veterinarian at Dover AFB while fighting valiantly against cancer. He is survived by his wife, Carla Minus Lewis; his son, Moses Elijah Lewis; mother, Sarah Lewis; his wife's parents, Dr. And Mrs. Homer W. Minus; his sister-in-law, Felicia Minus Lewis (David). Services will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, August 19, 2010, from 9 to 11 a.m., for visitation and 11 a.m. funeral, all at Whatcoat UMC, 341 Saulsbury Road, Dover.
