Dr. Gregory W. Price, 66

    Dr. Gregory W. Price, of Dover, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 at Bayhealth Kent General after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
    He was the Husband of Susan Albert Price who he married in December of 1989. Greg was born in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late Oliver Winston Price, and Beatrice Lillian Gray Price.
    After attending Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore, Maryland, he attended the University of Maryland completing an undergraduate degree in pharmacology and then continuing on to complete his degree in medicine. Upon graduating, he did his internship in local Maryland hospitals and his residency took him to Albany Medical Center in New York, here he completed his residency and fellowship in radiology and met his wife Susan.
    His first job took him and his family to Dover Delaware, Kent General Hospital, where he became a partner in Kent Diagnostic Radiology Associates. In 2000 he left Kent General to continue his education with an additional fellowship at medical imaging of Lehigh Valley and Allentown, Pennsylvania. He continued his medical career with medical imaging of Lehigh Valley until his passing.
    They filled his free time with family trips to Disney, cruising with his family, and usually a posse with his children's friends and extended family. He loved all horse racing and had quite a few of his own over the years. Most became pets and when they were done racing, they lived out their lives on his farm.
    He had love for music, Coca-Cola, Hostess orange cupcakes, Applebee's, quiche, key lime pie, stuffed shells, Perkins, and Bob Evans skillets and banana bread specifically but most importantly, his children and grandchildren were the light of his life and they will miss him terribly.
    Greg is survived by his wife Susan, his sons Christopher and Patrick and grandchildren Mason and Brittney Price. His son Stefan Daniel Price passed before him.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 12PM Tuesday May 5, 2026 at The Church of the Holy Cross, 631 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901. Visitation for family and friends will be held 6PM to 8PM Monday May 4th and 10:30AM to 11:30AM May 5th at the Funeral Home of Michael J Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901.
