Dover library expands hours, seeks residents’ input

Posted

DOVER — Starting Tuesday, the Dover Public Library will open earlier in the mornings and close later in the evenings.

The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 1-5 p.m. Sundays.

The Teen Loft will be open weekdays, from noon until the library’s closure.

In addition, the library will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.

Residents also are invited to participate in the facility’s annual survey, meant to provide feedback about its operations.

There are 12 questions on the survey, which will be available through Sept. 30.

“We want everyone to feel welcome coming into our facility,” a news release from the library stated. “Our goal is to offer a diverse collection and offer programming reflective to that.”
