Shooting in Dover leaves man wounded

DOVER — A 34-year-old Dover man was injured in a shooting Sunday.

Dover police officers responded to South Bradford and West Loockerman streets at 1:35 a.m. after reports of gunshots being heard there.

While they were on scene, a man arrived at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus in Dover with a gunshot wound to his lower body, police said.

Officers canvassed the area and did not locate any witnesses or suspects. There were no leads Monday afternoon.

Police asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted via Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or delaware.crimestoppersweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
