DOVER — A 29-year-old Dover man was charged with reckless endangering and gun charges following his arrest Sunday, Delaware State Police said.

Authorities said that at approximately 12:29 p.m., troopers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Becky Lane. During the investigation, police said, it was determined that Anthony Hatton, ran into the wooded area near Tidbury Park and fired one round from a firearm after an argument with his neighbors.

Police said troopers made contact with Mr. Hatton at the scene, and observed multiple signs of impairment. He was subsequently taken into custody without incident.

There were no injuries or property damage reported at this time, police said.

Mr. Hatton was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, first-degree reckless endangering, possession of a firearm while under the influence, and menacing. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $22,000 cash bond.
