DOVER — A 53-year-old Dover man was arrested on drug-dealing charges following a traffic stop Wednesday, authorities said.
Delaware State Police spokesman Senior Cpl. Leonard DeMalto said that, at approximately 8:29 a.m., a trooper on patrol observed a silver Chrysler Town and Country parked in a Rodney Village Shopping Center fire lane and contacted the driver, Gregory Dove.
The trooper found him in possession of numerous baggies of cocaine, police said. Also recovered from the minivan were marijuana and additional cocaine, totaling approximately 12.02 grams of cocaine and 34.52 grams of marijuana.
Mr. Dove was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a Tier 2 quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 2 quantity, possession of marijuana other than personal-use quantity, possession of drug paraphernalia and parking in a fire lane.
He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
