Dorothy Whaley Vasquez, 84 MILFORD - Dorothy Whaley Vasquez passed into Glory on Friday, July 11, 2008, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 84 and a native of North Carolina. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Dorothy is survived by five children, Pamela Sewall of Felton, with whom she resided for the past 6 years, Evette Edge of Snow Hill, N.C., Eric Vasquez of Haverhill, Mass., Kevin Vasquez of Dublin, Ohio, and Diedra Parsons of Ft. Myers, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Lee Gooding, 94; and one brother, Jethro Whaley, 77, both of Kinston, N.C. Her remains will be buried with our beloved father, Ralph Vasquez, in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. We would like to thank the very caring and compassionate doctor and nursing staff at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, for giving such tender care to our mother during her last days.
