SMYRNA - Dorothy Price (nee Dees), wife of Rev. F. Dean Price, went home to be with her Lord and her loved ones who preceded her in death, April 29, 2016, in the early hours of the morning. Her husband of almost 68 years was by her side, along with her two daughters and her son-in-law. Born Sept. 20, 1928, to Willie and Purvis Dees, she was preceded in death by her family and eight siblings. She was the matriarch of a family who loved her well, consisting of her daughters, Lynn Kennedy and Joy Williams and their spouses, Don Kennedy and Don Williams; six grandchildren, Melody Unruh (nee Kennedy), Melynda Fleury (nee Williams), Cristofer Williams, Jennifer Burrows (nee Kennedy), Shan Williams, and Kelsey Billings (nee Williams); seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great granddaughters. She also left behind many beloved friends around the world, people whose lives she touched through ministry and friendship. She served, side by side with her husband in many ministries, throughout the United States, and was a faithful willing servant every day of her life to her Lord and Savior. She will be sorely missed by so many, but we rejoice in her being with the Savior she loved and served so faithfully. Services will be held at Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, DE 19943, on Thursday May 5, 2016. A viewing will be held at 1 p.m. and the service will start at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE 19701, on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11 a.m.
