DOVER - Dorothy M. McNatt passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
Mrs. McNatt was born on July 30, 1929 to the late Emory and Viola Shultie Voshell in Felton, Delaware.
Mrs. McNatt worked four years at a doctor's office right out of high school and went on to be an administrative secretary for the Delaware Department of Health. She retired in 1994 after 43 years with the state. She loved to support her favorite baseball team, the Orioles. She also had a love of card games and gardening.
In addition to her parents; Dorothy was preceded in death by husband of 52 years, Eugene McNatt Sr.; and brothers, Ervin, Emil and William Voshell.
She is survived by, her son, Eugene McNatt, Jr. and wife Claudia Huetter of Bellingham, Wash.; brother, John Edward Voshell, of Dover; sister, Barbara Terisigni, of Toledo, Ohio; grandson, Alexander McNatt, of Seattle, Wash. She had a special connection with her many nieces and nephews. Dot had many cats throughout her life who enjoyed her companionship, her most recent cat being, Bobby.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be made to Salvation Army, 1278 Forrest Avenue, Dover, Delaware 19904.
A visitation will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd. (Rt 10), Dover. Followed by graveside services, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna, Del. In the future the family would like to have a memorial mass held in her honor at her church of many years, Holy Cross in Dover.
