Dorothy Lou Adkins DeCarlo, 66 SEAFORD - Dorothy Lou Adkins DeCarlo, of Seaford, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Fairborn, Ohio, after a long illness. She was 66. Born in Redwine, Ky., the daughter of the late Cloe Ethel Vaughn and Everett Chet Adkins, she was a beautican and homemaker. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Seaford, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Virgil Wilson Post 4961. She was an avid bingo player. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Pasqual B. DeCarlo Sr.; two sons, Pasqual B. DeCarlo Jr. and wife Christy of Hurlock, Md., and Gregory Vaughn and wife Julie of Huntertown, Ind.; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Smith of Bridgeville, and Victoria Lynn Laub and husband Steve of Findlay, Ohio; three brothers, Darrel Adkins and Farrel Adkins of Fairborn, Ohio, and Coburn Adkins of Green, Kan.; a sister, Nevlin Dwyer of Hollywood, Fla.; six grandchildren, Christopher DeCarlo and his Bobbie Jo, Wesley Laub, Courtney Hedrick, Adam Vaughn, Brandon Vaughn, and Abigail DeCarlo; and one great-grandchild, Kaylynn DeCarlo. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Seaford.
