Dorothy J. Miller, 92

MAYSVILLE, W.Va. - Dorothy J. Miller, of Maysville, W.Va., died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at the Harrison House of Georgetown, Del. She was 92.

Mrs. Miller was born in Maysville, daughter of the late Charles and Otie (Burgess) Smith.

She was a homemaker and in the 1950s she worked as a school cook at Maysville Elementary School.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Maysville, and the Jordan Run Homemakers Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Miller; and her only son, Charles Miller.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Charles, Melanie and Fred Miller; three sisters, Hazel Oliff, Sibyl Thorne and Victoria Jones; a brother, Eugene Smith; and a daughter-in-law, Celia Miller.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Maysville Cemetery.
