Dorothy Elizabeth Newsome, 98 CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Dorothy Elizabeth Newsome, of Chestertown, died on Feb. 7, 2010, at Chester River Manor in Chestertown. She was 98. She is survived by her son, Jack (John E.) Newsome Jr. and his wife Janice; two grandchildren, John Mark Newsome and Lisa Redman, and Lisa Elizabeth Burch and Philip Thomas; one great-granddaughter, Stephanie Marie Hill and her husband Ray; and a great-great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Hill; a nephew, Robert Hendrickson and wife Kay; and several cousins, and special friends, Audrey and Ken Beatty, and Bertha Kircher. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, Chestertown, where relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Still Pond Cemetery.
