DOVER - Dorothy E. Galbreath passed away on Feb. 3, 2016, at Penn Presbyterian Hospital, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Galbreath was born in Folcroft, PA. On Jan. 4th, 1937, daughter of Ralph J. and Anna J.Williams. Mrs. Galbreath went to Dover High School. She married her husband Lloyd on Nov. 26th, 1955. Mrs. Galbreath was a Girl Scout Leader for four years and a Den Mother for nine years. She retired after working for F.W.Woolworth for 15 years (1968 to 1983). In Nov. 1983 she worked for Rapid Dist. Service for five years. Then she worked for House of Fabric until they went out of business. She then worked for Delaware Sewing Center for eight years. Mrs. Galbreath loved gardening, sewing and enjoyed her grandchildren and her family to the fullest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; a daughter Cheryl; and four sisters, Eloise Virdin, Madeline Nicholau, Janet Virdin, and Jacqueline Thomas. She is survived by three sons, Bill Galbreath and wife Kathy of Rehoboth, Ron Galbreath and wife Susan of Magnolia, Ralph Galbreath and wife Susan of Dagsboro; daughter, Lisa Clough and husband Brian Clough of Felton; 12 grandchildren, Justin Clough, Aaron Brown, Lauren Mink, Jennifer Matticks, Cameron Galbreath, Courtney Galbreath, Tyler Galbreath, Brittany Clough, Chelsea Zwiegle, Logan Galbreath, Madison Galbreath, and Caleb Galbreath; six great-grandchildren, Collin Galbreath, Elizabeth Mink, Jacob Mink, Jordyn Matticks, Beau Galbreath and Lillian Clough; and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 at Torbert Funeral Chapel on Route 10, Dover. Funeral Services will be on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will in Sharon Hill Memorial Veteran's Park.
