MILTON - Doris W. Scott, 86, of Milton passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was born in Guilford, N.Y. the daughter of the late Floyd and Mabel (MacComber) Wright. She was a para-professional for the Cape Henlopen School District. She was a member of the Goshen U.M. Church in Milton. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and bowling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred P. Scott; her siblings, Richard "Yogi" Wright, Dorothy Anton-Andrie, Marion Woodrum and Janet Farrell. She is survived by her children, Dale Scott of Milton and Shannan Wilcutts and husband David of Harrington; brother, R. William Wright of Milton; grandson, David Wilcutts, II and wife Kim and three great grandchildren, Joel, Sarah and Thomas Wilcutts. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963
