LITTLE CREEK - Doreen L. Scarbrough, passed away Monday, April 06, 2009, in Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. She was 51. She was born on August 27, 1957 in Dover, to Richmond and Ruthellen Long Wright. She attended Dover High School. She worked at Air Base Carpet Mart in Dover and New Castle until 1999. She enjoyed being a mother and wife, spending time with the family and planning family events. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Edna Long, and Ferris Sr. and Dorothy Wright; and great-grandmother, Emma Knight. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Amos C. Scarbrough of Little Creek; daughters, Amanda Scarbrough and her special friend Josh Spruance, and Samantha Scarbrough; mother, Ruth Ellen Long Carson; step-father, Smith Carson; father, Richmond Wright Sr. and his finance Mary Hurd; sister and her husband, Catherine and Jeffrey Grzeszczak; sister, Teresa Carson; sister and her husband, Bonnie and Steve Outten; brother, Robert Wright, and wife Michelle; nephews, Shawn Trader, James Grzeszczak, Jay and Elliot Outten, Wyatt Wright, and Little Dicky Wright; nieces, Brandi and Victoria Grzeszczak, Emma Wright, and Julie and Jessica Wright; dear friends, Mitch Shockley, Robert and Chris Scott and their children, Christen, Robert, Danielle, Erika; dear friends, Michelle Williams, and her son Joey, and Melissa Hurd and Mike Hurd Jr. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at Little Creek Methodist Church in Little Creek. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A Gathering of Family and Friends following the memorial service will be at the Little Creek Fire Hall. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Little Creek Methodist Church; and/or Little Creek Vol. Fire Company.
