Camden-Wyoming - Donald L. Comegys, Jr., passed away Tues., Mar. 3, 2015, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born, Sept. 10, 1956, in Chestertown, Md. to Ruth(Wiltbank)Taylor, and the late Donald L. Comegys, Sr. He enjoyed working on cars, helping friends, and playing with his grandkids, especially spoiling his sweetheart, Megan. In addition to his father; he is preceded in death by his sisters, Vicky & April. Donald is survived by his companion of 10 years, Ruth Burns, with whom he resided; his brother, Steven Comegys & wife, Tammy, of Ill.; a sister, Judy August & husband, Mike, of Smyrna; grandchildren, Jonathan Pitcher, Angel Gruwell, & Mike Evans, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Megan & Jonathan Pitcher; as well as friends, the Wilson Family, of Elkton, Md.; and Roy Burns, his good friend for many years; and many nieces & nephews. The family wishes to give a special Thank You to Melissa Keddie, of Magnolia, for being a great friend. A Celebration of Life will be held 8 p.m., Mon., Mar. 9, 2015, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will take place privately in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
