Donald L. Bradford

DOVER - Donald L. "Doc" Bradford passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Bradford was born on Jan. 17, 1953 in Jacksonville, Fla., the son of the late John and Marion Bradford.
He worked for 30 years, retiring in 2009 from the DelDot Cheswold Yard, Area 8, as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Doc was an avid music, Steelers, and NASCAR fan, coin collector, and train hobbyist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Bradford; and his brother, Bradley Bradford.
He is survived by two sons, Nathan and his wife Melissa of Smyrna, and Eric of Dover; a daughter, Erin also of Dover; a granddaughter, Evelyn Sophia of Smyrna; and a number of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family members. He is also survived by his brother, Jay Bradford; and his sister, Deborah Pressley.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
