Donald F. Hastings BRIDGEVILLE - Donald F. Hastings, 71 of Bridgeville, died on Friday, June 4, 2010, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Delaware. He was born November 5, 1938 in Salisbury, Md., son of the late William N. Hastings and Myrtle Burris Hastings. Mr. Hastings for many years was a farmer, mechanic and short haul truck driver. He enjoyed repairing clocks as a hobby and was an avid CB Radio enthusiast.. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Patricia R. Hastings; two daughters, Sherri L. Billings of Bridgeville and Teresa K. Amerine and husband Eric of Bridgeville; two granddaughters Courtney R. Billings and Kenzie D. Hurlock; one sister, Jean McGee and husband Everett of Bridgeville; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cannon Mennonite Church, 8110 Cannon Road, Bridgeville, DE where friends may call after 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Bridgeville Cemetery, Bridgeville, DE. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Cannon Mennonite Church Alms Fund, PO BOX 718, Bridgeville, DE 19933.
