Donald Edge

BRIDGEVILLE - Donald Edge passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017, at his home. He was born in Goldsboro, Md., on Mar. 5, 1939, son of the late Robert and Mary (Dhue) Edge.
Mr. Edge was a salesman for Bridgeville Auto Center, Inc. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and cutting grass, but more than anything, he treasured time spent with his beloved family and his loyal canine companion, Baxter. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, fiance, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Edge was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Edge, Bernard Edge, Miles Edge, Jackie Edge, and Joe Edge; and his sisters, Dorothy Porter, Jean Weller, and Della Husfelt.
He is survived by his son, Donnie (Duck) Edge and his wife, Dawn, of Greensboro, Md.; his daughters, Elizabeth (Libby) Logan and her husband, Tim, of Greensboro, Md., and Susan Martin and her husband, Jimmy, of Felton; his granddaughters, Tiffany Wyman and her husband, Shane, of Felton, and Zoey Logan, of Marydel; his great-granddaughter, Allison Wyman; her great-grandson, LJ Wyman; his fiancee, Jeanette Rogers, of Bridgeville; and his sister, Mary Weist, of Fayetteville, N.C.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville.
