Don Juan Rosado

Posted

Don Juan Rosado, a proud Vietnam Veteran and lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, passed away after a long battle with dementia. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and carried the pride of that service throughout his life.
For Don, the heart of every summer was found at Houston Street in Fenwick Island, Delaware, where he spent countless days at the beach surrounded by family. These traditions created cherished memories that became a cornerstone of his life and will forever be remembered by those who shared them with him.
Don also held a fondness for horses and dedicated much of his career to the Delaware City Oil Refinery, where he worked with commitment and integrity.
He will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, and strong spirit. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Albert Rosado and Emily Jean Rosado; his wife, Margaret Rosado; his brothers, Earl Rosado, Glen Rosado and Allen Kim Rosado; and his grandson Jeromy Bubacz.
Don is survived by his children, Don L. Rosado (Alina) of Atlanta, GA, Stephanie Price (Paul) of Long Neck, DE, Kimberly Curran (Colin) of NY; his brothers, Carl Rosado (Gale) of Newark, DE, and Lou Rosado (Shelli) of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Laura, Steven, Emma, Kera, Alex, Sean, Natalie, Danny, Ryan, Catherine, Leah, Sarah, and Nicky; and his great grandchildren, Jase and Graham.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday October 10th, 2025, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Delaware Hospice in his memory.
Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
