DOVER - Don G. Franklin departed this life on Thursday, November 20, 2014, after a long illness. He was born on August 29, 1961, to John and Dorothy Franklin. Don was prepared to enter into God's Kingdom, and his soul was right with God. He started reading at two years of age, and graduated from Dover High with honors, excelling in math. He also attended the University of Delaware, and volunteered at many organizations. Don worked at Bank of America, and AT&T as a supervisor. He was skilled in many areas and could fix most anything. He loved animals and was saddened by the loss of Alfie and Sheba. Don was a very caring and spiritual person, and had a deep love for family. He regularly attended church services, and loved Gospel music. Don leaves behind to cherish his memories his parents; a brother, Gerald E. Franklin; his uncles, William Palmer (Ruth), Walter (Dianne), Hubert (Ilona), and Isaac Franklin; his Aunts, Sarah Wilson (Eddie), Doretha Solomon (John), Eleanor Williams and Vandoloa Brown (Vernon); and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
