DOVER - Diana J. McClure (Aunt Diana) died Oct. 11, 2017.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Anna Milazzo.
She had worked as a Book Keeper for most of her adult life and had dedicated over 25 years as a volunteer at the Dover Air Force Base Red Cross. A kind and gentle person, Diana was known as "Aunt Diana" by the many people that she encountered and assisted throughout the years. She was an active member of Holy Cross Church and in her quieter moments she enjoyed the company of her friends and crocheting.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Dick" McClure.
Diana is survived by her sister, Vita Eva Miles of Stamford, Conn.; and her nephews, Thomas Miles, Sr. and his wife Lynn of Goshen, N.Y.; and great nephew, Thomas Miles, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to Services on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE, 19901 where friends may call starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com
